Soprano Sarah Joanne Davis and classical guitarist Isaac Bustos invite you on a musical journey through Spain and Italy, performed amid stunning New Spanish Colonial–era artwork. Inspired by folk traditions, sacred imagery, and the vibrant sounds of Andalusia, the program features flamenco‑influenced music and works by composers who preserved these traditions, including Manuel de Falla and Federico Garcia Lorca. This concert offers an accessible and colorful introduction to the rich Latin and Moorish influences of Spanish music.
Composers featured include Garcia Lorca, de Falla, Caccini, Guastavino, Lecuona and Traditional Mexican Folk Songs.
Tickets for this fundraising event are $35 each. Appetizers and wine will be served, beginning at 4 p.m., on Sunday, May 17.
The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum is at 267 Old San Antonio Hwy., Bandera. For more information, call 830-328-5090 or go to www.banderamuseum.org.
