Bandera Natural History and Art Museum set for two weeks of Spring Break

Beginning Sunday, March 8, the Bandera Natural History and Art Museum has two weeks of activities, adventure and education planned as Spring Break kicks off in the Hill Country. Presentations range from origami classes to outdoor painting sessions, exotic animals to horseback rides, magic shows to a day in Africa, and more.
The line-up includes:
~ Sunday, March 8: Origami classes with Patti, noon to 2 p.m.
~ Monday, March 9: Open craft day
~ Tuesday, March 10: Free hotdogs, noon to 2 p.m. (while supplies last)
~ Wednesday, March 11: Plein-air (“open air”) painting with Araceli, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
~ Thursday, March 12: “A Day in Africa” African Safari program, 1-2 p.m.
~ Friday, March 13: Happy Tails Entertainment, noon to 2 p.m.
~ Saturday, March 14: Exploring Native American Arrowheads
~ Sunday, March 15: Origami classes with Patti, noon to 2 p.m.
~ Monday, March 16: Mini Masterclass with Melissa, 10 a.m. to noon
~ Tuesday, March 17: St. Patty’s Day crafts
~ Wednesday, March 18: Magician and Mentalist Frank Greer, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
~ Thursday, March 19: Last Chance Conservancy, The Bird of Prey Conservancy, show begins at noon
~ Friday, March 20: Facepainting with Darby, noon to 2 p.m.
~ Saturday, March 21: Guided Horseback Rides, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All activities are included with regular admission. The museum will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. Museum admission is $14 per adult, $12 for veterans, military and seniors (65+), $10 per student (with ID), $9 per child (4 to 12), 3 and younger are free.
