New Program: Mini Masterclass

The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum is pleased to announce a new series of public programs called MINI MASTERCLASS.

Mini Masterclass: Learn and Create will be 2-hour sessions led by a professional artist, where participants will be introduced to the life, art, and influences of a famous artist. After the 20-minute presentation, the teaching artist will guide participants through a brief exercise in the famous artist's style and then lead participants through the process of creating their own work of art.

Our first Masterclass is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and will be led by Melissa Sutherland. Participants will discover Frida Kahlo and create and take their own mini masterpiece inspired by Frida.
