Small, shy, and solitary animals, the adults are about 20 in tall and weigh 20-25 lbs. They are active at night (nocturnal) and spend their days under the cover of tall grass and shrubs. They are extremely timid and will run away at the first sign of anything unusual, moving well away before stopping.
