Significantly smaller than the greater kudu, bulls weigh between 200 - 250 lbs. Nocturnal by nature, they browse at night and seek the shelter of dense thickets at dawn. They evade predators by remaining motionless. If discovered they escape by leaping over shrubs and small trees.
